You will need to add Products to your database if you wish use Eritrium to generate Purchase Orders or Sales Orders. Typically, Products are items that can be purchased from a Suppliers or Manufacturers and sold to Customers (e.g. PC Color Video Camera, 32X CD ROM Drive, etc.). Products are required when creating Assets, Sales Opportunities, Quotations, Sales Orders, etc...
To create new products from the main window navigate to "File->New->New Product"
To view all the existing products on the system go to the options tree menu and navigate to "Products -> Products. The system will list all the existing products:

The information managed on this form is grouped on different tabs:
❑Code: This is the product code generated automatically by Eritrium
❑Name: The product name used in listings.
❑Manufacturer: The manufacturer for this product.
❑Description: Long detailed description for the product.
❑Active: Checked if the product can be used from other forms (i.e: to generate orders, etc...)
❑Family: Products can be grouped under families. Families are defined in the Lookup tables form. See administration tools for more.
❑Warranty: Days of warranty for the product once it is sold.
❑Purchase Price: Price applied when generating purchase orders for this product. See purchase orders for more details.
❑Final Price: Price to be applied when selling the product to a customer. See sales orders for more details.
❑Tax Rate: Average tax rate to be applied by default when selling the product to a customer.
❑Supplier: Organization that supplies the product.
❑Suppliers Product Code: Code used internally by the supplier to manage its product.
❑Suppliers Delivery Time: Time needed by the supplier to deliver the product to us each time we place a purchase order.
❑Last Purchase price: This field displays the last existing purchase price if there are existing purchase orders in the system.
❑Average Purchase Price: Displays de average purchase price if there are existing purchase orders in the system.
❑Stock Max: Max stock line defined for this product.
❑Stock Min: Min Stock line to be used to generate alerts.
❑Base Measuring Type: Measuring units defined in the Look up tables.
❑Show in Shop: If checked, the product will be displayed in the online shop module.
❑New in Shop: If checked, the product will be displayed in the online shop module as new.
❑Opportunity in Shop: If checked, the product will be displayed on the shop module as opportunity.
❑Comments: Long description of the product.
❑Materials: If the product is a multi part object (more than one material) this list manages all the parts included in this product.
❑Stock: This tab manages the existing stock of the product.
❑Documents: List of documents related to the product. See Document Management for more details.
❑Pictures: This section is used to configure the product web page when using the online shop module.
❑Small Picture: The small image to be used in listings on the online shop.
❑Big Picture: The big picture to be used when showing detailed information about the product in the online shop.
From the top menu of the products form the following actions are available:
❑Supplier: Eritrium will open the suppliers form for this product.
❑Manufacturer: Eritrium will open the manufacturers form for this product.
❑Add material: If the product is a multipart system (a set of parts grouped all together under a single price) this option will add part to the existing set.
❑Add Stock Line: Eritrium will generate stock lines in the existing stores.
❑Add Document: Eritrium will open a new Document Form to add to the product.
To Delete existing Products, users must edit the one to remove and use top menu option: File>Delete. If the product has relation of any kind with other system objects (e.g.: part sold to a customer. System supplied by a active supplier, etc…) Eritrium will not let the user remove it.
